  It is established in the Sahih that the Prophet ﷺ performed the two rak^ahs of tawaf behind the maqam. It is also narrated from ^Abdu l-Lah ibnu ‘Abi ‘Awfa, may Allah accept his deeds, that the Prophet ﷺ performed ^umrah, circumambulated the Ka^bah, and prayed behind the maqam. It is further related that supplications are answered behind the maqam[1].

Among the sins of the hand is playing the many unlawful games. Among them are: dice, cards, and the like. These games are prohibited because they rely on guessing, not on thinking and calculating.

  The jurists assert that it is impermissible for individuals without expertise and who are not qualified doctors to practice medicine in the treatment of illnesses.

Allah ta^ala says: ﴾وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ مَنَامُكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابْتِغَاؤُكُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ﴿ And among His signs is your sleep during the night and your pursuit of His bounty during the day. Indeed, in these are signs for those who listen attentively [with reflection and understanding].

  Ibnu Hajar al-Haytamiyy stated in his Sharh al-Minhaj: "As-Subkiyy deduced the permissibility of kissing the Mushaf by analogy to kissing the Black Stone, the hand of a scholar, a righteous person, and one’s parent."

This issue is one of the ugliest issues in belief by which ‘ Ibnu Taymiyyah dissented from the sound mind and the explicit tradition and 'ijma^ of the Muslims. He mentioned this belief in five of his books: “Minhaju s-Sunnati n-Nabawiyyah”, “Muwafaqatu sarihi l-ma^qul l i sahihi l-manqul”, “Sharhu Hadithi n-Nuzul”, “ Sharhu Hadithi ^Imran‘Ibnu Husayn”, and “Naqdu maratibi l-'ijma^”. ‘Ibnu Taymiyyah’s statement in “Minhaju s-Sunnati n-Nabawiyyah”, Volume I, page 24 is: If you say to us: You said of the occurrence of the hawadith in Allah, we say to you: Yes, and this saying of ours is w…

  Allah has designated specific places within His Sacred House with particular distinctions. The honoured Ka^bah, the sanctuary to which hearts are drawn, and the Qiblah for Muslims across the earth. Within it are locations of immense virtue, among which is al-Multazam.

  Allah, ta^ala, said: ﴾وَمَا آتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَاب﴿ "And whatever the Messenger commands you, carry it out; and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. And fear Allah, for indeed, Allah’s punishment is severe."

   Allah, ta^ala, said: ﴾وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةً﴿ “And Allah has made for you spouses from your own kind, and from your spouses has granted you grandchildren [to assist you in fulfilling your needs and supporting your affairs].”
