The Muslims dug a trench as a defensive measure against the cavalry
Allah, ta^ala, said:
﴿وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا الْمُرْسَلِينَ * إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ الْمَنْصُورُونَ * وَإِنَّ جُنْدَنَا لَهُمُ الْغَالِبُونَ﴾

Georges turned his shield and joined the ranks of the Muslims
Allah said:
﴿وَاللَّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَىٰ دَارِ السَّلَامِ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ﴾
And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path

The Envoy to Yazdegerd
"Rejoice, for Allah has granted us the reins of their kingdom", he said
Prior to the Battle of al-Qadisiyyah, the esteemed commander Sa^d ibnu ‘Abi Waqqas, may Allah accept his deeds, dispatched a delegation of distinguished leaders to the Persian monarch, Yazdegerd. The king, known for his arrogance and corruption, harboured a deep-seated disdain for both the Arabs and the Muslims.

It's all over
Allah drove back the disbelievers in their rage, leaving them thwarted and without success
Allah said :
﴿قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا﴾
“Indeed, Allah knows the hinderers among you and those who say to their brothers [in appearance among the Muslims], "Come to us," yet they join the battle only briefly.”
﴿أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَىٰ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُمْ بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ أُولَٰئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْ…

The Great Battle of Badr

The Battle of Badr is so named because it occurred near the well of Badr. It is referred to as "al-Kubra" (the Great) to distinguish it from the earlier skirmish known as Ghazwatu Badr al-‘Ula (the First Battle of Badr).

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Muslims set out from Medina on the 12th of Ramadan in the second year of the Hijra. Before departing, the Prophet appointed ^Abdu l-Lah ibnu ‘Ummi Maktum to lead the prayers for the people in Medina.

'Abu Sufyan received intelligence about the movement of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions from Medina, intending to intercept and seize his caravan. Reacting swiftly, he diverted the caravan's route towards the coastal path.

When ‘Abu Sufyan was assured of the caravan's safety, he dispatched a message from Al-Juhfah to the chieftains of Quraysh, informing them of his successful escape along with the caravan's security, and urging them to return to Mecca.

The Prophet moved the army to the nearest water source of the enemy
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from "Dhufran" and proceeded through the mountain passes known as Al-‘Asafir, eventually arriving near Badr. Witnessing the obedience, courage, and unity of his companions, who were fully committed to battle, the Prophet ﷺ organised his troops.
