The Islamic judgment pertaining to women is based on the foundation that it is prohibited for the pubescent female to uncover her body except for her face and hands, in the presence of marriageable pubescent males. Also, it is prohibited for the marriageable pubescent male to look at her nakedness, except her face and hands. Islamic jurisprudents proclaimed that: ‘Since looking is prohibited, it follows that touching, by precedence, is clearly prohibited’.

The decree of Allah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ”إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيَعْمَلُ ‌بِعَمَلِ ‌أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ إِلَّا ذِرَاعٌ، فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ ‌بِعَمَلِ ‌أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَدْخُلُ النَّارَ.

The Prayer

Allah, ta^ala said: إِنَّ الصَّلاَةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَاباً مَّوْقُوتا 'Ayah 103 of Suratu n-Nisa’ means: {Certianly, the [obligatory] prayers have been prescribed to the believers to be performed at specific times.} After the belief in Allah and His Messenger, the prayer is the best deed. Allah made five (5) prayers obligatory upon every pubescent, sane Muslim within the night and day. One has to be keen to perform them. Also, one must learn how the time of each prayer begins and how it ends.

It's all over

Allah said :  ﴿قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا﴾ “Indeed, Allah knows the hinderers among you and those who say to their brothers [in appearance among the Muslims], "Come to us," yet they join the battle only briefly.”

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهلِ النَّارِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَينَهُ وَبَينَهَا إِلَّا ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسبِقُ عَلَيهِ الكِتَابُ فَيَعمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهلِ الجَنَّةِ فَيَدخُلُ الجَنَّةَ» "Indeed, a man may act in accordance with the deeds of the people of Hell, drawing so near to it that only an arm's length separates him from it. Yet, what has been decreed overtakes him, leading him to perform the deeds of the people of Paradise, and he ultimately enters Paradise."  Narrated by Al-Bukhariyy. The true measure lies in one's final state, and numerous acc…

Arabic Language

The Prophet, sallAllahu ^alayhi wa sallam, praised the Arabic language and ordered that we love it. The Arabic language is the language of the inhabitants of paradise and is the first language that Prophet Adam spoke in paradise. Moreover, it is the language with which Allah sent down the Qur’an. Hence, it is not permissible to cuss it or mock it.

a blessed tree

Allah said: ﴾وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ * وَطُورِ سِينِينَ﴿ "By the fig and the olive, * and by Mount Sinai" (Suratu t-Tin). Allah swore by these things because of the immense benefits they contain. Some of their benefits are known to us, while others remain unknown, yet we must believe that they hold great significance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “كلوا الزيت وادَّهِنُوا بِه، فإنَّه مِن شَجَرةٍ مباركة” "Consume olive oil and apply it for anointment, as it originates from a blessed tree." Narrated by An-Nasa'iyy.   The finest olive oil is that of Jerusalem, followed by…

The Prayer

Everyone who follows an imam while performing prayer—the Jumu^ah Prayer or other prayers–must fulfill the following obligations: The follower (ma’mum) must not be ahead of his imam in the standing position or in saying the opening Allahu Akbar. The prayer of the follower is invalid if he says his opening Allahu Akbar during that of the imam. Doing other actions at the same time as the imam in other parts of the prayer is disliked (makruh), except for saying: “Ameen ”.
