He was Imam ^Abdu l- Malik, son of ^Abdu l-Lah, son of Yucuf, son of Muhammad Al-Juwayniyy, An-Naysaburiyy, denoting his origins from Juwayn, his native village situated in the region of Naysabur. He is the distinguished Imam, the jurist, the specialist in Prophetic Tradition, the expert in the foundations of faith, the learned scholar, the ascetic, the pious, Shaykh 'Abu Bakr 'Ahmad Ibnu l-Husayn Ibni ^Aliyy Ibni ^Abdi l-Lah Ibni Musa Al-Bayhaqiyy Al-Khusrawjirdiyy.

Imam Malik is a renowned scholar and the founder of one of the four major schools of jurisprudence, which is esteemed and widely disseminated throughout Muslim countries. He authored the first compilation of Hadiths, meticulously organised into chapters and integrated with jurisprudential laws.

 After our Prophet,ﷺ left his house, he went to our master Abu Bakr’s house and told him that he had been given permission to migrate. Abu Bakr asked the Prophet if he could accompany him and the Prophet ﷺ agreed. Abu Bakr then cried out of happiness.

Remaining are just a few days that will pass in the blink of an eye, then the month of repentance, mercy, goodness, abstinence, generosity and blessings shall come to us. 

It is obligatory upon every Muslim to preserve his faith in Islam and protect it against whatever invalidates, abolishes, and interrupts it, namely, apostasy 

Qadi ^Iyad was of the ‘Ash^ariyy creed; his books are filled with expressions of transcendence and the negation of any resemblance between Allah, the Exalted and His creation. He affirmed for Allah the attributes of perfection and magnified Him with expressions of reverence.

The knowledge of the religion is the most honourable knowledge. The prophet ﷺ said what means: He who walks a path seeking knowledge [of Islam] Allah shall facilitate for him an easy path to paradise. Related by At-Tirmidhiy.

'Udhiyah (offering a blood sacrifice) is a great ritual of the religion and an emphasised practice. Al-Bukhariyy and Muslim narrated in their Sahih that the Prophet ﷺ sacrificed two big white rams which he slaughtered by his own hand and said ‘bismi l-Lah Allahu 'Akbar’. The merit of the one who revives this practice is very great.
