What is Recommended to Say After Finishing Wudu’?
It is recommended to say after finishing Wudu’ the following: Ash-hadu alla ilaha illa lLlah, wahdahu la sharika lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ^Abduhu wa rasuluh. Allahumma j^alni mina t-tawwabin, wa j^alni mina l-mutatahhirin. Subhanaka l-Lahumma wa bi hamdik, ash-hadu alla ilaha illa ant, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk.

Gossip (Ghibah) and Tale-Bearing (Namimah)
Gossip (Ghibah) is a disease prevailing in many societies. In addressing this issue, let us remind ourselves and others to be cautious of spreading this disease. Allah said in Surat al-Hujurat, Ayah 12:
وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحَبُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوُهُ وَٱتَّقُوا ٱللهَ إنَّ اللهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ

Nothing deserves imprisonment more than the tongue!
Allah said in Surat Ibrahim, Ayah 34:
وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نَِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ
It means: [Should you attempt to count your endowments from Allah, you would be unable.]

The month of Ramadan
Zakah al-Fitr and its recipients
The Zakah of Fitr is due on every Muslim who is alive for part of Ramadan and part of Shawwal (the month after Ramadan .) According to Imam Ash-Shafi^iyy, the due Zakah for each is a “sa^” or four times a pair of average-sized hands cupped together (“mudd”) filled with the most common staple food of one’s area. However, according to Imam Abu Hanifah, the due Zakah is three “mudd” of wheat or six “mudd” of dates, barley or raisins.

Who is obligated to perform Hajj?
Performing Hajj and ^Umrah once in a lifetime becomes obligatory upon the Muslim when he is free, accountable, and can afford to reach Makkah and return to his homeplace. This includes that one has in excess of one’s debts, appropriate lodging and clothing, and what one is obligated to spend on those whom one must support from one’s departure until one returns.

Funeral prayer
Funeral Prayer (Janazah)
Upon the death of a Muslim, Muslims are obligated to pray for him. Just like in the obligatory prayers, one must have Wudu’.
However, the Funeral prayer does not have ruku^ or sujud. It is recommended that the dead person be laid in front of the imam.
How to Perform the Janazah (Funeral) Prayer
1. Stand facing the Qiblah with your chest.
2. Have the intention: “I intend to pray the Funeral prayer for this dead Muslim” while saying: Allahu ‘Akbar.
3. Recite the Fatihah softly, then say Allahu ‘Akbar.
