  When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions completed digging the trench, the Quraysh, along with their allies, approached and camped at the confluence of two channels known as Majma^u l-‘Asyal.

   Allah, ta^ala, said: ﴾وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ بَنِينَ وَحَفَدَةً﴿ “And Allah has made for you spouses from your own kind, and from your spouses has granted you grandchildren [to assist you in fulfilling your needs and supporting your affairs].”

Gossip (Ghibah) is a disease prevailing in many societies. In addressing this issue, let us remind ourselves and others to be cautious of spreading this disease. Allah said in Surat al-Hujurat, Ayah 12: وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا أَيُحَبُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوُهُ وَٱتَّقُوا ٱللهَ إنَّ اللهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ

Allah said in Surat Ibrahim, Ayah 34: وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نَِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ لَا تُحْصُوهَآ It means: [Should you attempt to count your endowments from Allah, you would be unable.]

Ramadan is a time of goodness and blessings and is akin to a school for nurturing the emerging generations in their devotion to acts of obedience. During this sacred month, the Muslim learns numerous moral lessons and beneficial teachings.

  "If I have a missed prayer that I wish to make up, but I have not yet performed the current prayer and the time for the current prayer is about to end, what should I do?

It is narrated from ‘Anas, may Allah accept his deeds, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when retiring to his bed, would enumerate and mention some of Allah's blessings, expressing gratitude for them, such as food and drink. He would say: “الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا، وَكَفَانَا وَءاوَانَا، فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لَا كَافِيَ لَهُ وَلَا مُؤْوِيَ”
